Rigid Polyurethane Foam (PU Foam) เป็นการนำสารเคมี 2 ชนิดคือ Diisocyanate และ Polyol มาผสมเข้าด้วยกันในอัตราส่วนที่เหมาะสมการผสมจะเกิดปฏิกิริยาของความร้อนซึ่งจะกลายเป็นละออง “โดยการทำให้เย็น” เป็นเหตุให้โฟมขยาย (Volume) ตัวถึง 30 เท่า โดยปกติความหนาแน่นของเนื้อโฟม จะอยู่ในอัตรา30 - 40 กก. ต่อ ลบม. และ ข้อดีคือ ภายในเนื้อโฟม จะมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์การนำ ความร้อนต่ำ จึงเป็นการดีเยี่ยมสำหรับการเป็นฉนวน (Insulation)

HOW TO MAKE RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAM?

Polyurethane foam is the versatile cellular PUR being one of the best insulators at present.

Rigid polyurethane foam can be pro-ducted by mixing together two chemicals, namely Diisocyanate and Polyol, at a proper ratio, thus causes the condensation reaction and produces foaming. As a result, the volume of foam increases up to 30 times. Normally, the

density of foam varies from 30 to 40 kg per cubic meter, the thermal conductivity is so low that makes rigid polyurethane foam an excellent insulator.

Polyurethane is characterized by tremendous amount of air bubbles foaming closed cells which trap air inside. It is resistant to impact weather of all sea-sons. It is light and will not wear down throughout its service life ; abrasion resistance ; having no joints, i.e., comes in one piece; weevil and termite resistance.

Polyurethane foam is and insulator of the latest high technology of the present and the future world.

คุณสมบัติของฉนวน

1. ประสิทธิภาพในการเป็นฉนวนกันความเย็นและ ความร้อน สัมประสิทธิ์การนำความร้อน (ค่า K-Factor)

ที่อุณหภูมิ 0 องศาเซ็นติเกรด (เซลเซียส) เพียง 0.017 กิโล แคลอรี่ ต่อ เมตร ชั่วโมง องศาเซลเซียส

2. เปอร์เซ็นต์ การซึมน้ำและความชื้นต่ำ (ถ้าฉนวนซึมน้ำและมีความชื้นในวัสดุ ค่าการเป็นฉนวนจะ

เปลี่ยนแปลงไป) เนื่องจากวัสดุเป็น Closed Cell ค่า K – Factor จึงมีค่าคงที่อยู่เป็นระยะเวลานาน

3. มีน้ำหนักเบา และแข็งแรง เนื่องจากเป็นโครงสร้างโฟมแข็ง ถูกกดทับไม่ยุบตัว

4. เนื่องจากมีกาวในตัว ทำให้สามารถยึดติดระหว่างวัสดุได้ทั้งสองด้าน

5. ติดได้กับวัสดุเกือบทุกชนิด เช่น กระดาษ ไม้อัด แผ่นเหล็ก อลูมิเนียม คอนกรีต กระเบื้อง ฯลฯ

6. การประสานกับชิ้นงาน เมื่อฉีดเข้าชิ้นงานแล้วจะ ไม่มีช่องว่างและโพรงอากาศ โฟมจะติดกับผิว

งานทันที ทำให้ไม่เกิดหยดน้ำ และลดการสูญเสียความเย็น

7. ฉนวนโพลียูเรเทน โฟม มีความเป็นฉนวนที่ดี มีอุณหภูมิใช้งานอยู่ระหว่าง - 70 o C ถึง 100 o C

8. ความคงทนต่อเปลวไฟ - ติดไฟแต่ดับได้เอง เนื่องจากผสมสารสกัดไฟไว้ เรียกว่า ไม่ลามไฟ

9. ความสามารถ ปกป้องและป้องกันสนิม ให้กับชิ้นงาน และคงทนต่อความเป็นกรดเป็นด่าง

1. Efficient thermal insulation, thermal conductivity (K- factor value) at 0 C. equals 0.017

2. Low percentage of moisture-proofness (If an insulator absorbs water and moisture, its

insulation coefficient will change.). Since the foam consists of closed cells, its K- factor

will be stable for a long time and gradually change a little.

3. Light weight and hardness (when being pressed, foam will not collapse).

4. Gluey or sticky: able to stick between 2 sides of materials.

5. Attachable to almost all types of paper, plywood, steel plate, aluminum, concrete, tiles,

etc.

6. Binding the products, when injecting into the products, there will not be any space, the air

bubbles of foam will promptly attach to the surface of the products , thus will not

cause any vapor and will reduce the loss of coolness.

7. Polyurethane foam is an excellent insulator between the effective temperature of -70 o C

and 100 o C

8. Flame resistance, inflammable but self extinguishment since it comprises extinguish ants.

9. Rust proof and resistant to acids and alkaline.
